Born in Stone Mountain, Georgia, Amish Trivedi has a degree in History (with minors in English and Film Studies) from the University Georgia (2005) and an M.F.A. from Brown University’s Program in Literary Arts (2011). Currently, he is a Ph.D. student in English and Critical Theory at Illinois State University in Normal, IL. Previously, he taught creative writing and writing studies at Roger Williams University in Rhode Island and creative writing at Brown University.

His new book, Your Relationship to Motion Has Changed, is out from Shearsman Books. Sound/Chest, his first book, came out in 2015 from Coven Press.
